Tracy Stanford
Assistant Women's Golf Coach
Tracy Stanford was added as women’s golf assistant coach in August of 2024. She spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at UNLV.
In her last season at UNLV, Stanford and the Rebels finished in at the Mountain West Championship. UNLV junior Toa Yokoyama qualified for the NCAA Regional where she finished in 11th. In her first season in Las Vegas, the team qualified for the NCAA Regional where they finished in 11th.
Stanford, who played professionally for eight seasons, came to Las Vegas after spending the past year as an assistant golf professional at The Hills Country Club in Austin, Texas. In that role, she oversaw golf operations, ran the weekly ladies' tournament league, and assisted with clinics and the PGA junior league. A PGA associate, Stanford also competed in the 2022 South Texas PGA Tradition Championship during her time there, placing in a tie for fourth.
As a professional, Stanford started her career at the 2009 U.S. Women's Open and played on the Epson Tour - formerly known as the Symetra Tour - from 2010-16 and in 2019. She posted three top-5 finishes over the course of her career and finished the 2013 season with a career-low scoring average of 73.54 in 15 events. Additionally, Stanford played in the 2016 LPGA Portland Classic and competed on tours in Canada and Australia.
A former student-athlete, Stanford began her collegiate playing career at Iowa State in 2005 before transferring to Texas Tech, where she recorded one top-5 and two top-20 finishes with the Red Raiders. The Midland, Texas native graduated from Texas Tech with her bachelor's degree in business administration in 2009.
